North bound to Guanacaste

Costa Rica surf camp takes pride in the nations beauty and encourages all visitors to explore what Costa Rica has to offer. On the southern zone of Costa Rica, the providence of Puntarenas and Osa peninsula are well known for its natural landscape with abundance of jungle and wildlife. On the North side of country, Guanacaste providence has been the main attraction area in Costa Rica for decades, and it is easy to understand why it has become so popular with tourists, white sand beaches, clear blue water, good waves, and a dry climate.  There are also many reef surf breaks where can expect offshore winds to blow all day long during the dry season, which is ideal for surf conditions.  Tamarindo is the main featured surf town with all the high scale resorts, shopping, and beach bars to fulfill most tourist desires.

The providence is named after the large guanacaste tree, also the national tree. This giant tree is unmistakeable, being so big it provides a large shade for many species of animals to escape from the strong sun.  Growing to massive  heights, it is one cool tree! This is the nations driest area and the dry season can last over six months without any rain.  Guanacaste is a polar opposite of the Southern zone of Costa Rica, being much flatter and will go through months of drought as opposed to heavy rains with rolling lush green mountains.  Whichever ever region you choose to visit while coming to Costa Rica you will be impressed by the beauty of this country!

Costa Rica surf camp offers packages for surf trips and professional surf lessons at the highest level to provide you a unforgettable vacation.
